Is there a way to set project to only download/work GPU tasks?

It's possible through Web based preferences. Go to Project Preferences ( Project -> Preferences) and make your choice.
Or you can limit the number of cores/threads that will be used by changing the value of Use at most % of the CPUs at Computer Preferences (Computing -> Preferences). In your case, having AMD Ryzen 9 5950X 16-Core (32-Threads), setting that to 12.5% will utilize only 4 Threads (2 Cores). This will unload your system leaving you with enough processor power for other jobs. The second one could be set from the local settings inside the client as well (Options -> Computer preferences).
